Certification in Hope-Action Theory & Practice
Overview
Develop your skills in practical ways and increase hope for your clients in this 5-week, cohort-based course. Taught worldwide, this course content is now incorporated into the 12-week Career Coaching Practitioner course, taught annually by Norm Amundson and Andrea Fruhling through the University of British Columbia. The Hope-Action Theory includes competencies you can develop and apply across all aspects of your life, including career planning. When implementing career goals guided by the Hope-Action Theory, your clients (and you) can make career decisions in a positive, confident, and hopeful manner.

Share reflections and engage in learning conversations with your cohort through shared reflective posts and ongoing conversations in a private LinkedIn group.

Actively engage in developing a community of practice through weekly small group meetings with like-minded professionals, and mentoring from instructors.

Learn to have more effective conversations and increase the hopefulness of the clients you support using the Hope-Action Theory as a foundation.
